Antonello Gerbi

Tech Lead & Full Stack Developer

Numerical analyst by training, full stack developer by experience. Building complex systems at the intersection of mathematics and software.

About

I have a solid academic background in Applied Mathematics with a Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a PhD in Mathematics from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.

My expertise includes analysis of complex, coupled PDE models and numerical simulation using the Finite Elements Method. I spent 4+ years developing parallel (MPI) C++ libraries for HPC systems.

As a backend and frontend developer with 15+ years of experience, I've been passionate about Computer Science, FOSS software, system administration, and development tools since my teenage years.
